Post an intro message
You know, "Arrival" or something to that affect. If you are coming from the Seanchan lands, the Shaido lands or the Waste (or from any Free Nation that hates Aes Sedai/Asha'man) you should have a few extra posts describing your perils and whatnot in getting to the Tower.
Post seven (7) Novice/Solider messages
Five (yes, the number of elements there are) of these are One Power training sessions. A full Aes Sedai, or an Accepted with permission, will post a message starting a group training session. All Novices are required to post on the thread, twice. The training sessions are divided by the Five Powers, this leaves one message for doing a chore *groan*. Just remember chores aren't necessarily punishment. Also, post something where you're NOT doing work. It's fun to get into trouble.
Post your Raising to Acceptance/Dedicated
I shouldn't have to explain that, we've all seen them in the books. (The arches thing. . . *oh yeah. . .*) Solider's are going to do the arches as well. You will probably have some sort of One Power duel before that as well to test and see if you can handle the strain.
Post seven (7) Accepted/Dedicated messages
One should be a chore, just as the Novice/Solider section above. Make sure it is a horrible and idiotic chore too. If possible, make your character get in trouble for something moronic to show how truly low an Accepted/Dedicated is to an Aes Sedai/Asha'man. The remaining six are more training sessions and another free post. However, this time only full Aes Sedai (probably more than one) will train you and you are required to post three times per thread. These posts will more than likely focus in your major and minor talents. There is a kind of Raising to Aes Sedai/ASha'man thing too, that's explained in a later step.
Post a few messages in which you develop your Talent
Your Talent doesn't have to be too specific. If you want to have the Foretelling or something like that you need to have an additional talent (notice the non-capitalization) that you are mildly good at. Be sure to have a minor Talent (notice this capitalization) too. If you're especially good at Healing, then be semi-good at something related like Shielding (both have Spirit you see. . .). There is now a Talents list up, and that'll probably come when the site moves. For now, pretty much anything is good. Ask Gena or the Amyrlin if you're not sure.
Final post as an Accepted/Dedicated
Your final Accepted post should be one in which you are "field-tested" by a Dreamwalking sister. She will take you into Tel'aran'rhiod and create a scenario in which you have to react, attack, defend, whatever. You won't be able to channel to your full ability in the World of Dreams, but that is the point. You are being tested on your quick thinking, dexterity and overall Power-wielding skills. Make this as dramatic as possible. Also, you don't have to post your Raising to Sisterhood, about which we know nothing. Remember, the Three Oaths have been removed, so don't refer to them except in the past tense. (i.e., don't refer to them as if they still exist).
Your final Dedicated post is one where you attack and defend yourself against a seasoned Asha'man, it will be deemed by the Tamyrlin when this should take place and who you will fight. The goal... not to be killed, and not to kill the other person. The ultimate victory comes when you sucessfully shield the other person.
You're an Aes Sedai/Asha'man now!
Woo-hoo! Ahem. . . These are the minimum requirements, so if you want to post more than this, that's fine, even strongly recommended. Once you become an Aes Sedai/Asha'man, choose an Ajah (remember, Red does not exist any more) and a Warder from the graduated Gaidin, or pick one of the Warders in training for your future Warder. You don't have to pick your Warder so quickly if you don't want to, but I figured that you'd want to. Asha'man can bond Gaidin, if wanted too, but they can also bond Aes Sedai if they are willing.
